What happened after graduation?
I went to work at Gulf Oil after finishing up at U of H.  Then, when Gulf was ultimately acquired by what is now Chevron, I had the opportunity to go to Chevron in San Francisco, or was invited by the CEO of CITGO Petroleum to join them in Tulsa.  Not much of a decision there !!!  Joined CITGO in 1985 as General Manager of Business Services, and stayed there until retiring at the end of March, 2006.  RETIREMENT IS GREAT !!!

Family
I met my wonderful wife, Patricia, in 1987, and was married in 1990 in Tulsa.  She had five children in her former life (one boy and four girls) and I had two (one of each).  The seven children have combined to produce 15 grand children (11 boys and 4 girls), and one great grandson.  Holidays are exciting, to say the least !!

I never thought I would...
Be going to a 50th high school re-union OF MY OWN!! (that was always something only your parents talked about!!!)

Rewarding events since 1958...
My marriage to my wife, Patricia, our wonderful children and grandchildren, and the rewarding years at CITGO.

What I would do differently...
I am content with what life has given to me.

Special interests or hobbies...
Spending as much time as possible at our lake house on Grand Lake, a little over an hour from Tulsa....fishing and boating, and just "hanging out" !!

Favorite vacation spot(s)...
THE LAKE HOUSE!

Additional thoughts and comments...
Aldine High gave me the opportunity to go on to the University of Houston, and get prepared to enter a competitive business world.  I am forever grateful to both of these institutions!

I look forward to seeing my Aldine classmates in April.
