Aldine High School 1958
The Aldine 1958 golf team (left to right) of Ken Blake, Joe Rogerson, Rufus Summers and Don Kessler received the beautiful, full color golf calendars which each team member is proudly displaying. The fact that we received a prize at all speaks to the fairness and generosity of the tournament organizers. Our score was 77 which is 5 over par.
On the other hand, the 1st place team of R. Reeves, R. Hill, S. Anderson, and J. West scored 57 or 15 UNDER par. Think about that for a minute. The course consists of only 18 holes which means that the Reeves team on average birdied 15 of the 18 holes. Remarkable.
Please join us, the Aldine 1958 golf team, in congratulating the Reeves team for their REMARKABLE performance. We hope they enjoy their winning trophies as much as we enjoy our calendars.
